Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Nookview Studio Rentals website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Accounts

You may create an account to save preferences and manage bookings. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account.

2. Bookings

• Selections in your cart are requests, not confirmed bookings.
• Confirmation is subject to availability, verification (including COI for certain gear), and payment authorization.
• We may decline unsafe or unlawful productions at our discretion.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are listed per hour or per day as indicated in the catalog. Taxes and fees may apply. Payment timing and methods will be communicated upon confirmation. Late returns or overtime may incur additional charges.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

You may reschedule once at no cost if requested at least 48 hours before your start time. Cancellations made 48–24 hours prior may incur up to 50% of the booking value; within 24 hours may incur up to 100%.

5. Use of studios and gear

• Follow posted safety guidelines, load limits, and power ratings.
• Return gear with included accessories; report defects immediately.
• No smoking, open flames, or hazardous materials without written approval.

6. Damages and liability

You are responsible for loss or damage beyond reasonable wear. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts paid for the applicable booking.

7. Content and IP

You retain rights to your project content. Our brand assets and website content are protected and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or unlawful activity. You may stop using our services at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Venue shall lie in Los Angeles County.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
